Now that you have viewed all of the fantastically creative art rockers and sat in one to see how comfortable they are, we are certain that you will want to own one for yourself.  Bids may be placed anytime after the opening of the show on June 25, 2009 and may be submitted right up until the closing auction on September 2, 2009.  Instructions for bidding are listed below and you may follow the bidding right here on the Village of Clinton website:   www.villageofclinton.com/artrocks09/

Winning bidders must pay for and pick up their rockers at the conclusion of the auction.
If you are unable to attend the closing auction you may place a "reserve bid".  Instructions are listed below.

HOW TO BID ON A ROCKER

Opening bid for a full size rocker is $150.00. Opening bid for a child size rocker is $100.00.

All bids must be raised in $10.00 increments.

There are three easy ways to place a bid:

  1. On location:  Go inside the shop or business where the rocker is displayed and ask for a bid form.
  2. E-mail:  artrocks.clinton.ny@gmail.com (be sure to include your name, the name of the artist, bid amount and your phone number).
  3. Phone:  Anne Debraggio (315.853.4928) or Carol Renauld (315.859.1790).

Bids will be updated periodically on the Village of Clinton website (www.villageofclinton.com). Art Rocks will end with a live auction on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the Clinton Village Green (weather permitting) or at the Kirkland Art Center (9 ½ E. Park Row). If you are unable to attend the closing auction you may place a “reserve bid” from August 24 thru September 1 by e-mail or phone. Instructions for “reserve bids” are posted on the website and printed on the bid forms.

Please note that our artists receive half of the money raised from the sale of their rocker. Happy Bidding!

If you are unable to attend the closing auction you may place a reserve bid. A reserve bid is the highest amount you wish to pay. Someone from our committee will bid on your behalf in $10.00 increments until you either win the item or have been outbid. Reserve bids will only be accepted from August 24 – September 1st and may be placed by phone (315.853.4928 or 315.859.1790) or email (artrocks.clinton.ny@gmail.com). Shopkeepers will not be able to accept reserve bids.
