Friends of the Library Book Sale

Friends of the Library Book Sale

Organized by the Friends of the Kirkland Town Library, this popular annual event is a fantastic fundraiser that takes place right on the historic Village Green. Book lovers from all over gather to browse thousands of high-quality, gently used books spanning every genre and category.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to discover their next great read at an affordable price while directly supporting the library’s programs, collections, and resources.

The Friends of the Library accept donations of pristine, like-new books leading up to the sale. Because of limited storage and high standards for the sale, they ask that donated books be clean, odor-free, and in excellent condition (no encyclopedias, textbooks, VHS tapes, or magazines).

Whether you are hunting for a rare find, stocking up on summer reading, or just enjoying the lively atmosphere under the big tent on the green, the Annual Book Sale is a beloved summer tradition that supports a great cause!
